I have 7 month puppy. She has recently started having problems eating, like she gets too excited or something because if we feed her small amounts throughout the day and keep her head up she is fine. however, if we feed her on the ground she cannot keep the food down. she also has problems drinking water...

My Father in law was recently bit by a dog. He is a door to door cable sales man. He was inside (with permission) the owners house when the dog bit him. My father in law is loud and obnoxious and scared of dogs. I can image exactly how he behaved around the dog to get him self bit. He's jumpy around...

So, to me it seems like it's nasty and maybe a little cruel to crop a puppy's ears and dock it's tail. I know a lot of people just do it for looks...is there any other reason for doing it? I know there are a lot of awesome Dobe lovers on here so could you post your comments on this one? OH...
