Freezing Meat Before Feeding?
Posted to: Nutrition & Exercise
Hi! I'm switching to Volhard and I wanted to know if raw meat should be frozen for a period of time before feeding it to the dogs? Is there any benefit to doing so? Are there serious dangers if you don't? Thanks so much! Stef

How to find a trainer?
Posted to: Nutrition & Exercise
I'm having some difficulty finding a trainer in my area and wondered if any of you had any suggestions. Is there some sort of database that I can look through, or is there a list somewhere? I tried looking through the yellow pages online but I only found one and that was 30 minutes away. Thanks.

For those of you looking to learn about certain breeds
Posted to: News & Entertainment
I just found this on Animal Planet's website...I used to love watching Breed All About It (even though the guy's voice is a little irritating) and apparently they've shortened the episodes to little clips you can watch online. I know there are always people looking to learn about different...

A cute story about a Sheltland foal: "Rory was rejected by his mother after he was born in Colchester on Friday the 13th of October. After arriving at the sanctuary he became ill and spent all his time being nursed in the office - attracting the interest of labradors Alfie and Millie, owned by...

swollen neck gland
Posted to: Health & Grooming
Hi, This is my first post. My 3 year old Cavalier woke up yelping this morning. When I pet her on her neck area, she yelped again. I felt a swollen lymph node on her left lower jaw/neck area. Should I bring her to vet right away?? Thanks in advance for suggestions.
