Sighthounds anyone?
Posted to:
Choosing A Dog
Before I was introduced to sighthounds I wasn't sure what they were all about. But now after a year of having my Pharaoh Hound I've been converted. I think that being owned by a sighthound has been the most incredible experience of my life. Most of the sighthounds I've met have been too smart...

Boomer's back home
Posted to:
News & Entertainment
Well, we picked up Boomer at the vets yesterday, there is still 3 or 4 inches left so it doesn't look so...shocking. It is shaved and there's stiches but when they come out in a couple of weeks and the fur grows back , it won't be bad. I was trying to pick him up to put him in the backseat...

Long story, short... my husband has come around to my way of thinking that a second dog would be a good thing (all those articles/posts about multiple-dog households I read him finally paid off!!). So we're going tomorrow to check out this girl: [link http://tinyurl.com/knmk5]http://tinyurl.com...

Twitching while sleeping
Posted to:
Health & Grooming
My almost 3-year old Beagle twitches sometimes when he lays down or sleeps. It's not dreaming because his dreams are very active--tail wagging, whimpering, growling, all the fun stuff of chasing a critter in his sleep. When he lays down sometimes he just twitches, his legs flinch or a muscle jumps...
