paint in carpet!

Does anyone have any suggestions for getting bright red latex paint out of carpet? I've tried resolve and running it over with my steam cleaner several times, and no success. My boyfriend is an art studio major, and spilled a pint of paint in my living room :/

In the last 4 months I have had 3 close deaths, of high school friends. People that should have just been beginning to live are already dead. And just a few minutes ago I fond out that another one is dead. Another one, barely 19 years old. I cry for him, and I cry for all those friends that have died...

I'm not 100 % certain, but I don't think Shari has a lot of time left. Since March, we have had several episodes of diarrhea that seem to happen for no reason. I haven't switched food, she's been off Deramaxx for 4 months. She has severe arthritis in her lower spine and it's worsening...

I'm pretty sure my question isn't exactly what this forum is for, but it does deal with pests. I just got a new dog a week ago, and when she goes number 2 outside, the droppings attract hundreds of flies. I've had three dogs live in this house before her and I've never seen so many flies...
