Resource Guarding - So Much for Progress
Posted to:
Training & Behavior
Ugh... I am SO frustrated right now. I THOUGHT we had made progress with the resource guarding thing that my puppy came with, but apparently NOT. I was out in the yard and Shippo found a dead bird and picked it up. With the fear of all kinds of diseases that are rampant right now, I tried to take it...

"crate trained" adoptee is pouty in crate
Posted to:
Training & Behavior
We adopted a Border Collie mix, estimated to be 1 year old, about a week ago. From what we know of his history, he was adopted once after being found as a stray about 5 months old. That family kept him for 2 months and crated him outside. The crate was often used as punishment for barking. Family #2...

Do your dogs hate expensive toys?
Posted to:

I bought her this 6 dollar squeekie and she totally ignores it! On the other hand she is totally obsessed with this...

Lump on testicle? Update: Surgery complete!

[ ] Is this something common to beagle mixes or does he need to see the vet? I'm trying not to be paranoid, but it's...
