Who is in charge....
Posted to:
Training & Behavior
Our 8 month old GSD mix, Minsk doesn't have any major behavioral issues, but after giving it a bit of thought it became clear that he thinks he is the Alfa. Its nothing very overt, but the symptoms are clear; terrible recall outside the house, darting all over the dog park and very rambunctious play...

My friend's mom rescued a male chihuahua from a kill shelter in Orange County. She was looking for a companion dog to her chihuahua, found one at the shelter and then also adopted this dog, Edgar, because he was scheduled to be euthanized the next day. She is hoping to place him now. I'm wondering if...

On Monday I noticed this yellow puppy by this small bait and tackle shop down the road from my house. I went and spoke to him and he was really scared but his tail was going 90 mph. He was skin and bones (you could see his hip bones, all of his ribs and back). And i thought about him all day while i...
