Up until recently, I "health-handled" Ben every day, touching him, brushing him, brushing his teeth, checking his paws and ears etc. I wanted him to get used to it when he was really young. Which heartworm med for puppy

My English Bulldog pup is 5 months at 30 pounds.. Vet wants me start her on heartworm med on Sept 1. Which one should I use? I've only used Heartguard in the past and maybe I should worry about the other worms for a puppy? Maybe use Interceptor?
