Dog's know when you're not feeling well.
Posted to:
News & Entertainment
I'm currently at work and my wife called me with a story of what happened to her this morning. She woke up this morning not feeling well as it seems she's coming down with the flu. Anyways after being up for about an hour with our dog Boomer she all of a sudden got ill and had to go to the bathroom...

I know this man and his methods have been a source of debate and perhaps even anger. I want to share with you my thoughts after seeing him live, in person, on stage, speaking for 4 hours. First of all...as with just about everything in this world...there is more than one way to accomplish a goal...

Anyone know of a product that will absolutely taste bad to Max?
Posted to:
News & Entertainment
Is there anyone in the world that will absolutely stop Max from chewing my bed sheets. He really seems to have a taste for my fitted sheets. He's ruined a few now. I thought I had it taken care of, but apparently not, because he just did another one this morning. I was just wrapping my arm around...

Roll Over and Heel
Posted to:
Nutrition & Exercise
My lab learns quickly (shocker, right?) but she is just not getting roll over. She knows come, stay, down, heel, go to bed, paw, other paw, speak, and the difference between catch and fetch and she goes potty on command very regularly. She can identify toys and who we are by names....so she's not...

Free feeding?
Posted to:
Nutrition & Exercise
I've read (and agree) that free feeding is a bad idea . . . however, I also don't like the idea of forcing the dog to eat in 20 minutes. My approach thus far has been to give Winston a cup of dry kibble in the a.m. when he gets up. I never pick the food back up and I won't add more to the...

Suggestions Please???
Posted to:
Nutrition & Exercise
I have a 1 year old and an 8 year old. Until we got the 1 year old I had been feeding Scruffy, my 8 year old, senior food. Ideally I would like to get them on the same food. It would just make things cheaper and easier. Occasionally Scruffy has a little hip problem. That's why I feed her the senior...
