My lab learns quickly (shocker, right?) but she is just not getting roll over. She knows come, stay, down, heel, go to bed, paw, other paw, speak, and the difference between catch and fetch and she goes potty on command very regularly. She can identify toys and who we are by names....so she's not dumb. I'm assuming it's me!!
How have any of you found a successful way of teaching roll over? Whenever I try to make her roll over she thinks we're playing and then training all goes to hell.
And....how long can I expect her to stay and heel without being distracted? She's six months, so I know her attention span is short. She just doesn't heel for as long as I'd like her to, like if we're on a busier road and I want her right next to me for an extended period or if I want her to heel when another dog walks by...she pulls a little.
