She does this many times a day, and he just lets her! She nibbles on him! I don't understand why... Anyone with insight? Is she just being a brat? Is this some sort of common dog behavior?

Easy Walk - Does this look right?
Posted to:
News & Entertainment
I got Easy Walk harnesses for the dogs. I'm not sure I have it fitted right though. It just seems too tight. But any looser and she can pull her legs out. For those who have used one before, does this look right?

Mindless Chatter - Sat

I woke up feeling like I have a cold. Hopefully it's just the change in weather that has me feeling like this and it'll go away by tomorrow. Today is herding day but I would rather go back to sleep. It's supposed to be beautiful today and I would like to clean out my car and garage.

Ruffwear web harness
Posted to:
News & Entertainment
I've noticed a few people on the board have that Ruffwear web harness. I've been looking at harnesses as I can't say I'm particularly thrilled with collars and what happens with collars in emergencies. I have had moments where I've lifted Penny entirely off the ground by her collar...

A great travel forum?
Posted to:
News & Entertainment
I've turned to my fellow forum-ers for suggestions. I am in search of a really great travel forum. I would prefer one that has both international and domestic travel, as well as a section on living and working abroad. I know that this is probably stretching it, as most forums are more specific (ie...

Probably a silly topic, but here it is I have a young dog, about a year old. He is (my fiance and I believe) a German Shepherd/australian cattledog mix. He is black with a grey cross on his chest, a little bit of grey on his toes, and on his belly and under his front legs. When I first adpoted him...

When dogs consume recreational bones...

So I gave the pups beef marrow bones last night, with the idea that they'd spend a long time extracting the marrow and chewing off the cartilage and meaty stuff, then I'd throw out the bone part when they had cleaned it off. Well, that's what Tojo did, but Rakka managed to consume the entire...

At the suggestion of a few people I bought a bag of this for Neiko and Lily. I had some serious sticker shock though with it being $52 for the largest bag. I'm half way through the bag though and have to say that it's lasting me longer than any other food we've tried. Lily (42 lbs) only gets...
