Anyone still in contact with their exes?
Posted to:
News & Entertainment
Curious. I have an ex BF that I was with for 18 mos or so in my early 20's. Things didn't work out...but I got 3 months in Germany outta the deal. I had some resentment at first and we didn't talk much...but as time went on I realized I liked to email with him now again, mainly because...

Need an answer quick!

So, long story short, my Mini Schnauzer, Buckel (17 months), had diarrhea all over his kennel this morning. He never does that. He's been crate trained since I got him at 8 weeks. I'm guessing he's got a bug, because that's what he had the last time he had diarrhea. So here's my question...

What does this mean?
Posted to:

Heres the situation: Tootsie will only eat her food, if she feels that its going to be eaten by the cat at home or my parents blind shi tzu. Never people. She will even go as far as laying down a few feet from her food and waiting for the cat to get some water or the tzu to walk by, then she will run...

"But it's against the LAW!"
Posted to:

Is there any law regarding how a dog owner should be able to control her dog on leash? I'm a little upset about one young lady, who is being pulled around by her large, aggressive dog as she walks her dog with one hand and the other hand always holds her cell-phone. I wouldn' care, but now she...

Chicken and lamb alternatives?
Posted to:
Nutrition & Exercise
Penny is giving my grief over her diet at the moment. As predicted, the moment she moved out of the company of the other two dogs, her interest in food really dissolved. Not completey, but she has once again made it known that she is not fond of chicken wings. So, I went and got her some lamb offcuts...

Travelcan and travelsafeguy I edited posts from them all linking to the same site and selling the same thing. Obviously not here for anything but advertising and willing to set up new ID's to do so.

Why are designer breeds so expensive?
Posted to:
Choosing A Dog
Hi guys, Just want to ask why are the "so-called" designer breeds so expensive? I came across the net ranging to 1,000-5,000 dollars! how come they charge outrageous prices? puggles, labradoodles, shihpoo, etc.. the list goes on.I even saw a "pom-poo"(pomeranian x poodle) for sale...

Problems at the dog park!!

I have a 2 year old terrier mix. She's 14 pounds and FULL of energy. I've been working really hard lately on becoming the "pack leader" and making sure that she gets nothing for free (must sit for food, must wait to go out the door, etc). She's doing really well except for one thing...

Behavioral problem with my corgi...
Posted to:
Training & Behavior
My 2 1/2 year old female corgi has started to show some really weird/troubling behavior. I have owned large and dominant dogs before, and I have been able to train them properly with being firm and consistent. It seems strange to me that I really have never been able to be in total control of my little...

mistreated dog in agility class
Posted to:
Nutrition & Exercise
So there is this woman with a GSD in my agility class. She is a trainer and owns 4 GSD's and trains them in Schutzhund. I find they way she handles the dog (his name is Chaos) in the class to be appalling. She is yanking him all over the course on a choke collar, and on more than one occasion I've...
