RANT about stupid owners who let their dogs run off-leash...
Posted to:
News & Entertainment
I don't post in the chat section much but I am so irritated about this I have to rant! I have an 8 year old black lab male, Cole. Adopted when he was 17 months old. I used to live in a very rednecky neighborhood where people let their dogs roam, and these dogs were often unfriendly guard breeds...

14 Month Old Dog, 10 Week Old Puppy
Posted to:
Training & Behavior
Just tossing this one out, to see if I have my bases covered, and perhaps my sanity checked. Kazimer is a 13 month old Australian Terrier, male, neutered, well behaved little guy. The whole family has spent the last year making sure he is a well behaved, well trained, well socialized family member. No...

My turn to vent...
Posted to:

Can I vent, for one second please? I'm the matron of honor in my "best friend's" wedding, although lately I question how close we truly are anymore. She was maid of honor in mine and I come to find out she did just about nothing for my wedding, my cousins and my other friend did a bunch...

As some of you may recall, Cherokee's been a rather dog-aggressive little girl. We've been working on it for a little while now, and we've had good results. No lunging, barking, or even growling at calm dogs at least, eh, 15 or more feet away. No lunging at dogs showing aggression towards...

Hi everyone, Got a year old petit basset griffon vendéen. Love her! She's such a busy little clown! Don't know any one who owns one. Very rare in Canada. Would like to compare notes with any PBGV owner.

DH & I are honeymooning in Vermont. We're leaving Friday evening, & I'm in the process of packing. It was 99 here today, so all that I really want to toss in the suitcase are shorts, tank tops, & a swimsuit. I'm a bit worried that if I pack these things, I may regret it later...

Sniper is 9 months old and very healthy as far as I can tell. Now that the weather is getting nicer out, we have been going for walks. I started her out slow, just a few minutes for the first few walks, and have been building it up for a couple of weeks. After a couple of longer walks, she would do this...
