Indie is really feeling the heat and humidity and wilting when we go out. Even early in the morning when the temps aren't much higher than 80, the humidity is so bad, he's wanting to head home after 15 minutes. He really needs to keep up the exercise to keep his joints strong and lose a few pounds...

TOTW--ethoxyquin?

I cannot find anywhere if TOTW uses ethoxyquin to preserve their fish meal. Does anyone have this info? And what about the fact that it is made by diamond? I am a bit leery about feeding it, but of course pretty much all dog food companies have had problems with their food at some point.....

just thought I would let the locals know! A place called Gourmutt's on Falls of the Neuse Rd I had spoken to her a long time ago and she explained there was no distributor in NC - still isn't but she was able to get a shipment She also has some other very good stuff including the Honest Kitchen...

Abe has cataracts...Do it or not to do it. Who is responsible for...

So we did take Abe to the vet today and she said that he has 2 cataracts. They can be removed or he can slowly go completely blind. Abe is only 2-3 years old and I don't know how long it would take for him to go blind, but my first instinct was. YES we are going to do this. the only issue is...

This local company is looking for local dog handlers part time...so I applied and I got an interview for tomorrow! She hurt herself and cannot use it anymore. She used to use it to put on shows at the nursing home where hse takes her therapy dogs. Since I'm in a class and Summer is already started on everything (she's a former therapy dog) except the seesaw, I got it! We've had it two weeks and are enjoying...
