Chuffy, I believe Tasty Kake is some kind of US thing.

But....we have St. Helier Perry.....and I am drunk.  Wheeeeee! 

I live in the US and dont know what a tasty cake is either. 

A TastyKake is a pastry-like thing, wrapped in plastic, sold in boxes of 8 or so. My favorite is the Butterscotch Krumpet, followed by Coffee Crumb Cakes. They don't sell them in FL so I have an outside source ;) ship me them once in a while.

Hmm.  No.  Oatmeal cookies and twinkies aren't even close to being in the same class. Unfortunately (or maybe fortunately) they don't have  them in CA.  I got some once in my Happy Mail and  I think they're pretty common in states closer to the east coast.
