5 gaint steps BACK!

Maze has some social problems, she's kinda aggressive towards certain dogs and people. But I've worked really hard with her to make sure the incidents are few and far between. She's hardly ever off leash but these past three weeks I've been putting her on the porch since I remembered...

Saturday Night Mindless Chatter...

Just cause my day is not complete without it. Am I missing something? If I am, too bad. I am eating Peanut Brittle right now. Thats right, peanut brittle is not just for Christmas like my mother would like me to believe. I found some in the candy aisle at Wally yesterday. I'm seriously considering...

MK/Danehaven, who mostly mods the horse forum these days, suffered a loss recently. Her mother passed away. I am not sure if dog.com is planning anything, trying to find out but things are a bit nuts with Meghan leaving. I will keep you posted and am sure that all of you, like me, wish MK peace in this...

Socially Inappropriate Behavior

I'm not even sure how to ask this question. My almost 2 yr old male Aussie has been humping the air randomly around guests & I'm not entirely sure this is normal. None of our dogs growing up have done this. He never actually does it when he's close to anyone or mounts anything. He's...

Flaxseed Oil Question
Posted to:
Nutrition & Exercise
So, neither one of my girls will readily ingest fish oil or flaxseed oil, until now. I wrapped a flaxseed pill in liverwurst for each of them and they cobbled them down no problem. The only question I have is ...... is 1000 mg of flaxseed too much to give a 15 lb dog at a time?? I was so excited that...

Why Did Our Dog Poop On Top Of Stairs?
Posted to:
Training & Behavior
Our dog pooped after I left for only a half hour last night. He did it in the spot that usually waits for any one of us to come home. He is nine years old now, and is trained to do it in a designated spot in the kitchen. Now all of a sudden he did this. He isn't left home alone all that often. There...

Hello, I know this should be in Camp fire, but this place gets more traffic and I desperately need suggestions! It's just after 3pm here and I have chicken fillets for dinner. However I have absolutely NO IDEA what to do with them. I usually do stir fry (which I like but DH doesn't) or curry...

Bad to great morning all in 60 minutes!

My purse was stolen this morning...and recovered. I stopped at the gas station I have been stopping at for 4 years, coffee, gas, conversation, munchies. I thought I had locked my purse in the car, but I guess not. Some young male on a bike decided he would look cool wearing my purse, and decided...

The X-Files movie: I want to Believe
Posted to:

Who is excited for this movie? I have loved the show as a kid, grew up with it. Yes, many have given me nightmares, but it was worth it. I was in 10th grade when it went off the air, and my friends and I had a party. (although to most fans, the last 2 seasons didn't exist...). Sundays have always...
