Help! Swallowed plum pit (never mind!)
Posted to:
News & Entertainment
So the little goober got into the trash and grabbed a plum pit. When I looked over to see what he was chewing on, he saw he'd been caught and gulped it down. Right down his throat. How serious is a swallowed plum pit? Will he pass it? Should I e-vet it? I tried hydrogen peroxide to make him cough...

Posted to:
News & Entertainment
Ok guys. Today is day 1 of my diet and I am sticking to it! The reason my dieting never works is because I get bored with eating the same things all the time. Here is my list of healthy foods. If anyone has anything else that has worked and is good whether it be healthy food, recipes or meals post it...

So, I want to know if I'm off base or what.... I'm standing in line at the grocery store about an hour ago. The store is crowded and there is one guy on front of me with less than half a cart full. All of a sudden a woman zooms up with her full cart and gets along side him like she's getting...

Keeping dogs out of garden
Posted to:
News & Entertainment
Hi, I have (well, HAD) a very nice large vegetable garden . . . I had everything in there, until the dogs decided it would be a fun little race track. So I fenced it in . . . well, its not tall enough and the dogs leap effortlessly over the fence. Everytime I see them in there, I tell them NO! and they...

I took Indie to the Do-It-Yourself Dog Bathhouse today and I'll never bathe at home again!!! It was a joy to bath him while standing up straight, it gave me a chance to go over him with the undercoat rake when he was covered in shampoo and again with conditioner. The amount of undercoat that came...

Licking grass and a MSM deficiency???
Posted to:
Health & Grooming
Miss Lexie, our shih-tzu has been licking grass when we take her outside recently. She's not eating it just seems to be licking it. Someone told my husband that this means she is deficient in MSM. Does this make sense???? She gets a multi vitamin designed for small breeds, 500 mg of cranberry, and...

Just a Little Giggle

So apparently I've gotten to that stage where moving is not easy. When I'm sitting and stand up, it takes a minute to straighten. When I go down the stairs I hold the handle. When I get down on the floor to help Kali pick up her toys, I use the coffee table to help myself back up again. Apparently...
