I thought I had replied to this, but I guess the post got lost with all the socks... somewhere in a different dimension.

LOL Gina, politics, religion... let's add abortion in there and really hit the panic button! :)  Hey, it may rock a few boats but I'm sure it can't be as bad as the politics/religion stuff we've been seeing.

well see...it is about abortion but I mean...THE PILL is just a part of daily life for many gals on this forum. We've discussed it often...and here it is portrayed as something IMO..it is not...a means to abort a baby. IMO it should make even pro lifers really think about how far things can go with regards to their own, personal bodies once a certain group with a certain idea...really gains momentum.

I hope my disclaimer keeps it civil...I really do. I think it's so important as women to see things like that article and know we're not safe from that old barefoot and preggers stereotype. There are people out there who really think we all should still be there...

here's to hoping it stays civil!

 No I think it's fine, but I am going to take the opportunity to say one thing here in the den that I would never say out in public. 

A certain somebody on the forum who seems hell-bent on making the UK look bad re: our immigration/equality policies is, I fear, going to have NO problem with this.  As the "outsider" here I think that maybe those people who like to point fingers should make sure their own house is clean first.  The idea of this makes me sick, but I'm not stupid enough to go into that thread and say "golly gee I'd rather deal with overzealous PC-ness here in the UK than the overzealous BC-ness there in the US".  So I've said it here.
