Ever just need a change?

I am feeling light and airy and free.... This morning I had about 10 inches of hair cut off. A MAJOR restyle...it was below my shoulders and now it's in a really cute, pixie-ish cut. I can't wait to wash it and have it only take 5 minutes instead of my usual 15...not to mention styling - what...

Seizures & Meningitis. Help!
Posted to:
Health & Grooming
I have a black lab puppy named Rhett. The other day he was found with his head hanging down, looking close to death without any warning or previous symptoms. We rushed him to the vet, where he was promptly diagnosed with meningitis and a parasite (that starts with a Co?) - but both of these issues...

What a GREAT day
Posted to:

The sun shone today!! ALLL day instead of the 5 minutes here and there between downpours that we've been getting for the past 2+weeks! After I defrosted the darned deep freeze (and made Todd go out in the garage with me to protect me from anything that might slither by) we spent most of the day outside...

Nova Scotia Duck Toller

Choosing A Dog
I have a 3+yr old Aussie Shepherd and have been toying with the idea of adding a second dog. I've scouted lots of different breeds, but I keep coming back to the Troller. I was wondering if anyone here has had one or experience with the breed? Thanks

Dog throwing up.
Posted to:
Health & Grooming
Hi all. My sister's dog just threw up several times. He hasn't eaten today, and it's thick yellow vomit. His appetite wasn't normal for maybe a week, he's a total pig and he snubbed his food a few times. And a few days ago, he threw up a really small amount of clear fluid with like...

Let me start by saying I am a combination trainer. I use positive and negative reinforcement. I use pinch collars and e-collars (for crittering), but I also use clicker training when corrections won't be particularly effecitve. Strauss is a performance dog all around. Obedience, tracking, schutzhund...
