Homecooked recipe- how does it look?
Posted to: Nutrition & Exercise
I found a homecooked recipe online and it looks simpler than most... this whole cooking thing is pretty confusing for me (I don't even cook for myself!) so I basically need a "cooking for dummies" type of recipe. So anyway, here's the link: http://www.dogiebag.com/Recipes.php ...

Howling during instrument practice!
Posted to: News & Entertainment
My oldest DD plays violin, and both girls play piano. Our puppy Rudy cries and howls when they practice. It's pitifully sad to listen to! The violin practice can be moved upstairs to DD's room, but the piano can't - LOL! Having never owned a dog, I don't know if this is hurting his...

My puppy book said that some pups are like this and to restrict his water. Well, we do that and he is insane about...

Training treats?
Posted to: News & Entertainment
So we're in Rally class now. Shelby's doing really good in it but Miss Thang tends to let her attention wander off. I'm thinking if I get some really interesting treats, it will hold her attention. So far hot dogs, bologna and these little peanut butter training treats aren't doing the...

I need some advice. My dog (Coco) has had an a problem with smoke alarms and the stove timer going off. This has been going on for about one year now. We got Jake his first Kong. I wedged a dog biscuit thingie in it and gave it to him. He seems very traumatized at how difficult things got after he chewed off the exposed end of the biscuit. He's tried licking it to death. He's tried nibbling delicately, and gnawing fiercely. Every couple...

Poodles: Mini vs Toy

How much of a difference are we talking? A couple inches? 10 pounds? I see lots of breeders advertise for both... could two toys produce a miniature? Could two miniatures produce a toy? Or are the breeding guidelines more strict.. say only breed mini's to mini's and toys to toys? (FYI.. I am...
