Just wanted to post this. A westie was brought into the shelter on Friday with poison because it ate some sago palm plant. We put him on an IV and kept him for a few days and pumped lots of charcoal into him and did everything we could, well today we put him to sleep. I have two of those in my backyard...

Do you put your dry food, bag and all into your food container? Or do you line it with a trash bag then pour it in? Or do you clean the container and pour the new bag in?

Considering microchipping my dog? Is there a universal scanner? Do most vets and shelters have scanners? Who chips the dog? How do you get the chip registered? I have no clue so I hope you all can help. What is the price range for chipping a dog?

Jack Russell Terrier and IG?! Got any idea?

You can't see it in the picture, but she has a skinny longer tail than a typical Jack. The vet thought she may be an IG mix, but we're not really sure. She was abandoned so no one knows her history. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
