Breed guess?

    Breed guess?

Well, I adopted Kelly awhile ago, but never got around to getting some pics on the net.  Now that I have, I am wondering if you all can give me a hint as to just what she is a mix of...  The shelter said part GSD, but I am just unsure of that...  (to be honest, I think she is just through and through mutt...)  She is alittle under 40 lbs, and stands about 19 inches high.  On to the good stuff... the pics!!

mmmm I see  doberman in there,  tail carriage reminds me of a saluki

Looks like a dobe X to me... Maybe some gsd somewhere in there.  The tail MIGHT come from a gsd, some gsd's have their tails naturally raised above their bodies like that, though breeders try to avoid this trait.

I have no idea, but i just wanted to say that you have a very cute dog[:)] i love her ears.

looks like a GSD and rott mix to me. Whatever she is, shes still very cute.

I see Doberman and GSD, too.  The coat looks a little thick for a Dobe.  I've seen a few pure bred GSD with tails like that.

I say GSD and Rottie, too [:)]

She's got a very cute face! Maybe she's part Manchester Terrier?

I would definately say doberman-x. Dobermans, when left natural, have tails that carry the same way as your dog's

    Example:

our amelia's tail curls up just like kelly's tail in the 4th pic. does kelly ever let her tail hang down or is it always up like that? amelia usually keeps her tail down (although it still curves some), but when she gets excited it curls up just like that (amelia's even has the longish fur on it too).

gay tails are common in many breeds.  Gay tails are not the same as breed specific tails (curls in akitas, the straight pointer tails, the upright beagle tails).  Some tail carrigages such as the picture are noted in sight hounds.   The black and tan points color combination is not that unusual either, no is it always indicative of a specific breed.  Head shape suggests a more narrow breed than rott.  GSD tend to be rather prepotentent so that is usually a good guess as part of the mix.  dob x gsd may be as good as any guess

Especially in the first picture, I see Smooth Collie and Doberman.
