Crate Question
Posted to:
News & Entertainment
Alright. My rottweiler / border collie mutt is 13 weeks old, and she weighs about 12 1/2 pounds. She's about the size, now, or a full grown Jack Russell. Her crate is made of plastic (don't know if that's important), and is about 2 feet wide, 3 feet long and 2 1/2 feet tall. My question...

Top dog gets the bed?
Posted to:
News & Entertainment
Hi, I heard somewhere that if you have two dogs, the one who's allowed on the bed is considered more dominant than the one who isn't? Is that true? Diddy(our pom) has ALWAYS slept on my bed. And when we got the gsd pup, he had to sleep in a crate, then on my bedroom floor. Recently, I wanted...

Pro or contra neutering?

Health & Grooming
Hi, I´m curious after I`ve read some posts in this section. Is it "normal" in the States to neuter dogs, is it like standard? In German forums this is THE question, and there are almost always two camps, only those who are completely PRO neutering and those who are completely CONTRA. The...

HELP! Puppy only goes in crate!
Posted to:
Training & Behavior
I need some help. I have a 9.5 week old Silky Terrier puppy. She only goes in her kennel! Pee or poop. At this age, she should only be able to hold it for 2 hours or so. I'm trying to get her to go on puppy pads and she doesn't get it. She lays down on them like they are a blanket. I had her...

Soft Kibble?
Posted to:
Nutrition & Exercise
My little toy poodle eats Innova canned food. I have yet to find a kibble that she likes enough to snack on here and there, she doesn't seem to like chewing the hard kibble. Are there any high quality kibbles that are of the moist/soft type?

Molly likes to walk around carrying our shoes. No damage she likes to carry them around - sneakers, boots, dress shoes makes no difference to her. Tell her to drop it, leave it she does. DH just spent 1/2 hour looking for ONE sneaker [8D][ ] found it hidden under some laundry in the basement

Silly Dasher!
Posted to:

Dasher loves to play with his treats before he actually starts to eat them. I gave the pups a bully stick yesterday and Dasher went through his ritual. Of course as soon as I turn the camera on he clams up, so I had to encourage him a bit.[ ] (excuse my goofy voice and the goofy music in the background...
