Hi everyone [

I know animals seek out medicinal plants and such when they need certain vitamins etc.
One of my dogs goes crazy for cartilage, particularly the breast bone of chicken. That soft bit you can cut through with a butter knife, and the end soft knobs of the drumstick.I am assuming this is cartilage?? When i give her a chicken carcass these are the things she goes for first, but often leaves the rest of the carcass. When she knows i'm chopping some up for her she gets so excited, which she doesnt do so badly with any other food.
Could she be craving cartilage for some reason? She has no signs of arthritis and is still young.I started supplementing with shark cart. around a month ago,but this hasnt diminished her "desperation" for the chicken cartilage.
