We have a 1 -2 year old rescued Wheaten Terrier / Shepard mix. A big, beautiful blonde girl. Her name is HoneyBear. We have had a lot of 'issues' since adopting her, but with obedience classes and firm resolve and patience... we have come a LONG way. She is very much continually trying to be...

Is it normal for my dog not to do his business on walks?
Posted to:
News & Entertainment
Panda doesn't like doing business on walks, he just likes exploring the unexplored (to him at least). He only uses the restroom in our back yard. Just wondering. Also, do dogs know when you are doing something that hurts them but is for their good? For intance lets say Panda had stepped in a nail...

Yesterday afternoon we were at our local dog park. Joey was playing with the other pups and had the time of his life! There was a “new girl”, a gorgeous weim named Sasha at the park. I#%92ve never seen her there before. She was really sweet, just running around playing and greeting everybody. About...

Eating dogs in China is uncivilized??? Look what's legal here (we...

Think that eating dogs in China is uncivilized??? America = Throwing living male chicks into the trash or into grinders to make dogfood is LEGAL in factory farms because males can't lay eggs when they grow up. America = Newborn calves are put in crates so tiny that they cannot turn around or walk...

Eagle Pack's take on rotating
Posted to:
Nutrition & Exercise
I emailed Eagle Pack the other day and asked if they could send a sample of their food because I was thinking of using one of the Holistic formulas for rotating. They said they don't send samples directly, that I'd have to get it from a local distributor, and mentioned I could buy a small bag...

What is wrong with me?

What the heck is wrong with me? I am almost 19 years old, my baby will be 1 year old soon, I am married (although not too happily) and I still think of my sort of ex! I feel sooo sleezy, everytime he passes by me I just want to jump in his car and go! The problem is he has a girlfriend and if she has...

She was a lab mix we adopted years ago. She is very small and compact for a lab. smaller head. most labs seem to have a broad (wider) head. her body is what we call tank like. She kinda looked like a puppy all her life. she weighed 41-44lbs. it is odd how to post photos here, so please go here...

My year-old shepard/border collie/lab puppy is constantly barking at everything! We did take him to a puppy class when he was younger, and they told us to squirt him with water everytime he barks. That works, but only when we have the squirt bottle and are standing right behind him! Now he's...
