I could really use some good vibes

I hate to ask but I am just so upset and frustrated. A little history (I will try to make this short): In August '05, I began to suffer from a neurological disorder that no doctor I have yet been examined by has ever seen before. I have been to specialist after specialist, and as yet, nobody has...

How old

is too old for obedience training. I have a 6 year old that I'd like to enroll in a class. She is a terier so pretty much has a mind of her own. She walks on a leash okay but if she sees "prey", there would be no stopping her. She, at this point , gets that one track mind that comes with...

Tylers big walk.....beyond awesome!
Posted to:

I'm almost speechless at how PERFECT Tyler was at the MS Walk! On the way into town I talked to him...told him that he was going to a VERY IMPORTANT WALK (shades of Callie, eh?) and that he needed to be really on his best behavior. I warned him that there would be LOTS of people and maybe some...

I have an 8 year old lab mix who has been going to the bathroom in the house more & more often over the course of the past year. Up to about a year ago, she NEVER went in the house -- then she came down with a case of giardia last spring, which caused severe diarrhea and several occasions of ...

Anybody have a hybrid vehicle?
Posted to:
News & Entertainment
My car is getting old, and I will need to get something to replace it soon. I've really been thinking of getting a Toyota Prius or a Honda Civic hybrid. I like the idea of using alternative sources of energy, and saving money on gas. I was wondering if anyone has any experience with either of these...

Am I overreacting?
Posted to:
News & Entertainment
I am putting this here because it kind of relates to Ben, plus I know many of you own cats. I love cats, and owned them for most of my childhood, but my SO is not really a "cat person". There is a woman a few doors away from me who owns 2 cats, a brother and sister, I think. Definitely siblings...

Please help me help him?!? Should I give the steroid?

Poor Boomer is miserable. One evening last week I noticed some bumps on his chest, by the next evening they were all over his chest, head, and shoulders. He scratched some of the spots raw that day. The vet diagnosed him with a staph infection last Thursday and sent him home with Chlorpheniramine...

Shot by a Bee Bee gun?
Posted to:
News & Entertainment
I'm not even sure if Bee Bee is the way to spell it. [8D] Anyway, I noticed a little lump on Murf's leg last night that I never noticed before. It's right under the surface of the skin and it sure as heck feels like a bee-bee. We adopted him from a rescue over a year ago. So my question...

Hi all! I have a few questions regarding Professional Pet food. The lil man, Simba, is a 5-year old rottie. I'm a little embarrassed to admit that he used to eat Pedigree.. A sales person at my local pet supply store recommended that he try [link http://www.professionalpetfood.com/DietSelectionDog...

We can take awat fresh marrow bones with no issue, I have shared her treats with other dogs during group play, she doesn't get guardy when other dogs come up to me, and the vets where we board her has never reported any issues...

Wouldn't it be nice if we could all meet? Have a big reunion for i-doggers only in a park somewhere in the middle of the country, where we could all get together and celebrate the dogs we have and honor the ones who have left us by showing videos or pictures of them? I was just reading the Rainbow...
