I have a weird thing happen last night with my dog. Has anyone experienced something like this in the past?
Last night, we crated our 1 year old Chin and went to bed. (She's always crated at night). Two hours later, we heard her screaming like crazy as if someone was strangling her to death. My husband ran into the room to see what happened, he saw her sitting in the crate and the moment he let her out she screamed even harder and louder and had her right paw in the air as if she was afraid to step on it. Not only that, she peed on the floor (its like she got scared of something), she was shaking until my husband picked her up and hugged her. After a minute she was fine, and walked with no
roblem. I'm trying to figure out what happened? Did her leg cramp? (is that why she was afraid to put it down on the floor) Did her leg get stuck in the cage and she couldn't get it out?
Has anyone seen this before? It really scared us, its like she was yelling "It hurts, help me!!!"
Any ideas?
