Shot by a Bee Bee gun?

Shot by a Bee Bee gun?

I'm not even sure if Bee Bee is the way to spell it. [8D]
Anyway, I noticed a little lump on Murf's leg last night that I never noticed before. It's right under the surface of the skin and it sure as heck feels like a bee-bee. We adopted him from a rescue over a year ago. So my question is- could he have possibly had a bee-bee in his leg all this time and no one ever noticed it?
And if it is a bee-bee, is it safe for it to be in there?

I'd ask the vet to confirm if it is a BB or not.  It's possible it's a tiny cyst or something else, but if it a BB, I'm betting they'll say to just keep an eye on it

a kid once shot my grandmas dog molly and the the vet said that the beebee wouldn't hurt her from where it was in her body. it would have  been risky to surgically remove it from her. if it is a beebee, you vet may tell you not to do anything about it.

My dog Shy had a bump on her nose when I got her, it was grown over by skin and hair and I never thought twice about it and if I had I would've thought it was a wart-like thing. Anyway, she had this thing for years through many vet visits. One time we wound up at an emergency vet that she'd never been to before. As she was being examined the vet metioned that bump wasn't normal and asked if he could cut into it. He made a little tiny incision and rolled that bb right out of there. It was really simple because of the placement of the bb, it was sitting on top of bone and not down in muscle or anything.

So yes, it could've been in there all this time without being noticed. As far as it being safe I'd consult with your vet.

I do not believe a BB will hurt her as my dad has one lodge in his back somewhere... he and my uncles used to used to play "tag" with them I guess...

I had no idea that they would actually go in skin. I always thought they bounced off. Wow, you learn something everyday.
