Going raw...
Posted to: Nutrition & Exercise
We're planning on switching Lana to raw. I've looked at our local store and they have complete raw diets so I don't have to worry about trying to give her a complete, balanced diet. So, any comments, suggestions, advice, etc. from experienced raw feeders?

Posted to: News & Entertainment
I dont post on this board because I dont have a cat, my only cat was a Siamese mix who died a year ago. But I was just wondering if there are such things as Kitten Mills? I know there are puppy mills, where most pet shops purchase pups, but what about the cats they have?

If so, why do you not believe it? If not, why do you use it? When we moved in here our neighbor;s Mom was on several...

I really want to get into biking with Sally. I'd like to get a Springer, as it seem to be the tool that would work for us the best. Has anyone used this before? Also, do you guys have any advice as far as trining a dog to the springer?

Taking dog nutrition too far?
Posted to: Nutrition & Exercise
This is not intended for a debate, I just wanted to share something I found funny at my local pet store today.... I was in Phydeaux (a holistic pet store in Carrboro, NC), and this lady came in and wanted to return her bag of Natural Balance (the regular formula). She said "I fed it to my dog...

Picky senior

For as long as I can remember, my dog has been picky when it came to dog food. As she's been getting older, her habits are worse and worse. She won't eat any dry dog food we (my mom) have given her, she'll barely touch any of the wet dog food we (..my mom) give her, she'll pass up raw...
