Eating while traveling
Posted to:

I have a 7 month old Shish Tzu wighing 9 lb. We just took a 9 day trip with him and he would not eat while we were gone. In the 9 days he ate about a cup of food and a few treats and lost a pound, a lot for a small dog. Has anyone else had this problem and/or what do you suggest. We are going on a 3...

Foster Dog Sent on to New Home Today
Posted to:
News & Entertainment
Well, the six year old male poodle (Teddy) that we got from a byb 6 months ago went on to his new home today. Originally, we had intended to keep him, but this household was a very poor match for him, and so we searched and found better. He's in such better condition now than when we got him--he's...

Sammys toenail (back foot) is crooked and theres blood around it. Hes not limping or holding it up, but I know it hurts because if he hits it just right he yelps. Anyway my question is since hes not babying it and is walking, I don't think a trip to the emergency vet is necessary. Can I give him...

For when you are bored

I thought we could post some silly things that you have done when bored, or fun experiments you have tried. Get a bottle of Coke, drop some Mento's (the freshmaker) into the bottle. DO NOT PUT NEAR YOUR FACE They will shoot out like rockets. The kids got a kick out of this. Collect pinecones...

Limping pooch
Posted to:
Health & Grooming
So this afternoon I let the dog out so she can go potty, and when she returns about 5 minutes later she is limping. I can't even imagine what she got herself into that resulted in this happening, and now I'm worried and feel a trip to the Vet might be in order. On closer inspection, she reacted...

I have a puppy...he just turned 11 months and I am literally at the end of my rope with him. I've given him the proverbial 3 strikes...about 30 innings ago and I don't know else I can do. My puppy has singlehandedly destroyed 2 sofas, 1 phone, a television remote control, 3 video game controllers...

Russell at his post
Posted to:

Russell's favorite thing to do around the house is to sit at the front window and watch the world go by. We have a little vinyl kitchen chair in front of the window so he can sit at his post. For the most part he's good about it but if he starts on a barking jag he loses his sentry priveleges...

Hello, I am contemplating getting a third dog. I am a tad bit hesitant as there are a few things going on in my life which lead me to believe a pup MAY not be a good idea right now (moving is one of them). However, I have fallen in love with a dog that may not be available when my life settles a bit...
