Hello there. Without making this too long I currently share my bed with the twin terrors, Spanky and Bandit and their lovely little dog Miley. Spanky comes across as the brains of this operation but Bandit truly is the mastermind behind it all. Miley has the IQ level of a tater tot but we love her anyways...

My camera amazes me almost daily. These are newly hatched spiderlings...the children of the spider mom I posted here a while back... I cannot believe how nice a pic I got of such....tiny tiny creatures...they are like...pinhead size! You can see their little details and such...whee!

Oh boy guys! I will be getting a new Great Dane puppy in a week or two. I will crate him, at least at first. I don't really want him to be a crate dog....( not that I think its wrong for anyone to do...I just want my dog to be able to look out the window... go by the door if someone comes and things...

Gracie is a 10 month old German Wirehaired Pointer who was never even close to being properly socialized with people or other dogs. The people aspect is getting much better, and we have a good handle on how to introduce her to new people effectively, but we are having some pretty substantial problems...

But this is a really good summary of the basic premise that complex/technological life may be extremely rare in the universe, and how we can come to this conclusion despite limited scientific resources...
