No, can't afford it and don't need it (at least, I think I look OK...).  I would only do it for a medical reason.

    • Gold Top Dog

I'm not sure mine really counts....it was to repair the damage done by a dog bite.

I wouldn't mind one bit having the fat sucked out of my thunder thighs.........

    • Gold Top Dog

I haven't, but I certainly would. There are things I'd love to get done...esp once I get past 40, which they tell me...is inevitable LOL.

Wait does getting a mole removed count?  There's a big one on my back I've been meaning to get removed.

There are also a few things I'd do with my teeth if I could afford it (pro whitening job, fix crooked one on the bottom...), dunno if that's really a surgery though.

I'm considering it, actually I've been for awhile now. I wouldn't mind having a few things done to my body, but I probably won't because 1) I'm currently broke and 2) I'm absolutely terrified of going under anesthesia! Oh, and I would like to get porcelain veneers someday.

I would certainly consider it.  I wouldn't mind having my boobies lifted.  Embarrassed

Periodically I fantasize about it. Embarrassed There are things I would consider, but I don't think I'd let anyone near my face with a knife - there are too many things that could go wrong.  But - if it was somewhere that I could easily keep covered - why not?

Annie, I have a much cheaper and safer alternative:  Victoria's Secret Biofit bras.  Two weeks ago, I went and got measured and fitted for the first time in my life (am 41 w/one child) and I am thrilled with this particular bra.  I was (typically) wearing the wrong bra size, a 36C, and the girls weren't happy (neither were my shoulders and neck).  Fitted to a 34DD, this bra has gentle uplift and man I have to tell you that it was well worth the money spent.  No shoulder and neck pain and even I'm not embarrassed to say I've got some major cleavage!  I can give these college students around here a run for their money - no kidding!

Besides, I've seen the breast lift surgery and it scared the heck out of me.   Indifferent

My breasts are 2 different sizes. haha, seriously! I wouldn't mind getting the larger one reducted to the size of the smaller one (they're about 1 cup size different). However, i wont consider it until i'm done having children/breastfeeding.

When I'm older I might consider getting some things down. I am trying the healthy way first thou. I would love to have my stomach flatter and my thighs smaller. And if I can't do it naturally then I may get it done surgically.

I'm going to give it a year or so to see if I can improve it on my own.  But, I've been considering a tummy tuck after losing a significant amount of weight.

    • Gold Top Dog

Yes, I had a nose job several years ago.  It wasn't anything major, just a bit of reshaping.  No one ever noticed enough to comment on it!  I also absolutely plan on getting more done down the line as age and gravity start to take over - a face lift, line fillers or whatever procedures are out at that time.

I had a friend who had a tummy tuck and I was very impressed with the results. It kind of creeped me out that they had to recreate a belly button, but it looked totally natural. I've heard it's a painful surgery to recover from.

We actually don't re-create the belly button, it stays in the same place. We make a incision around it, dissect down to the fascia then lift the entire abdominal wall flap off the fascia (minus the belly button) and pull it down. We then trim off the bottom portion, make a new hole for where the belly button should be. So it should look natural since it's your own belly button. Easy peasy........
