BF is an ocean rescue lifeguard and he said a toddler walked up to him around 4 o' clock. No parents have reported him missing yet and it's been almost an hour. You'd think people would keep an eye on their kids when they are right next to A GIANT BODY OF WATER. Sheesh. Things like this really...

Posted to:

Ted is my young dog who is learning the ropes - Ben's all but retired now and I am using young Ted more and more. Here I'm running Ted through a very short version of a trial course. First I had to put my sheep at the "setout", because we didn't have anyone else to do it. Then I...

Ok, no worries - I won't try to talk you thru Twix's Snooker run this time. I'll keep it short from now on, promise. Twix did get his third P2 Snooker run at the USDAA trial this past week-end, in spite of me falling down just as we started the closing. Twix still finished the course and...

Test for the CGC that is! I just found out there's going to be a test this weekend and I think Z should do well on all of it except walking on loose leash in a crowd and not being overexhuberant, especially since the test is at our agility facility. She has the skills, it's just doing them in...

Growling Question
Posted to:
Training & Behavior
Rory has started growling if she is asleep and we need to move her for some reason. If we try to pick her up, she growls at us. I get it, I don't like to be woken up either. =) Should I just ignore it? Is there something I should say to her when she does it? Not sure if it's a problem or not...

Hey guys....my net connection threw a hissy fit. I seem to be back, but want to give advance warning that I am going to be gone most of the day on Friday because I need to have something called a trigeminal nerve block, which involves sticking needles into various parts of my head. Yay. You've probably...

My appt. is for Wednesday and 'm going to a new salon to try to get a new look. My last hair salon was good and all, but I always felt like I was getting the same thing every time (this could very well be my fault for not being specific enough). But I want something different. I'm thinking of...

to a guy at the dog park yesterday. BF and I took our 4 dogs to the park for a short hike. It was busy of course and we just walked through the park to the woods and trails beyond. Our dogs know the routine so they ran on ahead through the fence and up the dam. So did 4 or 5 other dogs though. Most owners...
