Great job! I think you should finish it anyway and maybe do some others!

I should, it's been a long time since I've picked up a pencil. I need to draw some portraits of my dogs!! lol

You're very talented. I agree about finishing and doing more. I know I'd love to see more of your work :)

here's one of a horse...............yet again an unfinished one!! argh. most of the my finished work was either sold or given away ( mostly given away! lol)  and that was before I had a nifty digital camera.

looking back it's nose looks too big - and the one blue eye looks kinda scary!! lol

Wow, your shading is excellent! I've tried so hard to do similar things and it always looks like a line and a blob, lol.

thanks!! i actually found this really awesome book on how to draw texture with pencil, it's amazing!! i can't remember the name of it, it's probably something really easy like 'textures with pencil' lol.  it improved my drawings a lot, I could always shade - but i never knew how much the way the textures look really make it look great/or real!!

    found it!!

I have that book also, it's great.  The examples are kind of intimidating though, they're so good!  But it helps to see a drawing broken down into steps.

These have helped me alot also:

    Drawing Portraits

    Drawing Animals

You're very talented, you should continue!
