My favorite holiday is coming up this weekend. yes, I AM weird because Christmas isn't my favorite day. I prefer the patriotic ones. Sooo, while you are eating burgers or chicken or hot dogs and partying, remember this: someone died so you could have this day off. This day is a memorial for all veterans (past and present) and the sacrifices they have made. Fly your flag and fly it proudly. 'Nuff said.

CRAWFISH!!!! YUMMYY!!!!!! Gonna kick back, have a few, and boil some crawfish... Can't wait!

I love this holiday too and not only think of those who have served and died, but also the friends and family that I've lost. Sadly, we're sometimes the only house that's flying the flag on any of the patriotic holidays. Hopefully this year will be better.
