Whats the difference
Okay, so I know there are bull mastiff's and english mastiff's and neopolitan mastiffs, what is a Norweigan bull mastiff? There was an ad in my local paper from someone giving away a norweigan bull mastiff. Is there any difference between that and a regular bull mastiff. At first I thought she...

What to do! Adopt? Let it go?
As some of you know, I have a six month old Sheltie-Minpin and she's just a doll ... she's doing very well, but it makes me so sad to see just how happy she is around other dogs! She would LOVE a friend, and I sure have enough time for her AND another dog. My husband agrees... If I spend so much...

Smartest dog
Here is a link which "scientifically" rates dog breeds upon intelligence/obedience. The Chessie is tied for #27 along with the Puli and Yorkie. Perhaps that explains our issues!?! [link http://www.petrix.com/dogint/intelligence.html]http://www.petrix.com/dogint/intelligence.html[/link]

"Children" numbers 2 and 3
Children numbers 2 and 3 in a rare moment of repose. Usually around here it's 90 mph or in a dead sleep...not much in between!

Dinner Last Night
Nothing too exciting, but I figured I'd post my little story. We are planning on switching George to a Raw diet pretty soon. I'm the one doing all the research so I share bits and pieces with DH all the time. Last night as he's making dinner (yes, he's the cook in the family) he asks...

Eye spy with my little eye....
I guess there is no such thing as "lurking" now, because we can "see" you.... If you're signed in, we now know how many people are online (pretty cool!), and where you're hanging out (ok, a little strange...)!!!! I spy with my VERY own eyes.... [8|]

Kong question.......
For those of you that have babies you play with kongs....How long does it take to empty them? And what do you use in them. I have tried plain peanut butter and Shane doesn't like it. I have also tried the expensive stuff that you can buy to go in one, but sheesh I would have to take out a loan to...

I tried putting in my sig pic before, but it wouldn't show up, so I adjusted the tags and I want to see if it works now. (Testing... testing... 1-2-3...)

Neat art work
I was forwarded this website of an artist who created some art that spoke to the thousands of pet who are PTS every year. Its pretty neat! Not sure I could do anything like this without balling my eyes out the whole time! Great idea to make people think! [link http://cyrusmejia.com/575project.html...

Chewing Raw Bones - help
Ok, so I've got BF to consider letting our dogs chew on raw bones to help with their teeth. He's ok with the whole raw part of the idea, but it's the bones themselves that he's asking about. So here we go. He is concerned about chewing on raw bones and safety issues. We've always...

I did it.....I caved
Nigel and Sydney finally got a bite of raw chicken tonight. I was making a chicken enchilada casserol and I had more chicken than I needed but you can't re-freeze chicken you know....so I gave them each just a couple of bites. At first they both held it in their mouths, then Sydney spit it out onto...
