Is she mixed?
I have been wondering this for a long time. What is my dog? I don't even know if she's purebred or mixed (not that it matters to me, I'm just curious.) She came from a bad situation and we know virtually nothing about her history. We were told she was a Dalmatian. If she's a Dalmatian...

What breed could I be?
This is Georga, she's now about 4 years old, I've had her for 2 years and still have gotten mixed ideas on what she is. Anyone care to guess? She is Hypothyroid which is common in rotties and labs so thats been tossed out there but she is about half the size of a lab.

Blue who??
I posted earlier in another thread how hard it is to take Blue out in public without having a crowd around our car and the many people in my town that know who Blue is. Well I now have an identity for him when he goes out in public! Identity number one

Guess my Mix-
She's my newest foster- almost 8 months old, weighs 40 pounds- short coat (not smoth, just short- not thick or double either) with very slight fringing on tail, very muscular, but lean body. On muzzle and ears- white hair is so short, she's pink! I've heard husky/shep/bulldog from the shelter...

advice please
Hello, I have a mixed breed dog (bird dog mix) medium sized. We have recently found out that a "down the street" neighboor has a Great Pyrneese (sp??) and Lab mix. They got the dog on impulse and it is too big for their liking. The dog is outside ALL of the time and not part of the family...

Pit pup-pics and update
I posted about the pit mix pup I found. Here he is. He's been really good so far. Of course the other dogs have had to put him in his place a few times. But he seems to be adjusting pretty well. I have been crate training him, and using little peanut butter dog cookies as positive reinforcement...

looking for advice for getting a small dog
I'm 21 and living on my own. I'm moving into an apartment that allows pets....finally. I've been around large dogs all my life and don't know a lot about smaller breeds. I know I want a dog below 30 lbs. I want one who's about a year old, also. I'm trying to do research on breeds...

Great Dane
Does anyone have any recommendations on: 1.) dog bed that will fit a great dane sized crate - not too expensive - that is durable? My Shadow, bless his heart, has already torn up two beds - they were the pillow types and they just ripped from his jumping around in his crate. 2.) Putting wieght...

Pointers....
Does anyone own Pointers (English)? It is one of the breeds I'm considering and I like to hear from people who own the dogs. It would be our second dog and would likely be from the show lines......any comments or advice would be appreciated...

Pit pup
I have recently acquired a pit bull puppy. I estimate about 6-8 weeks. He is pretty small. I'll be taking him to a vet tomorrow and then I should know his age. My idea is that I should take him to training classes. I have another dog that didn't go, and he is pretty well behaved. But I feel...

My room mate found this  uppy at work and no one can figure out what it might be. I'm thinking some sort of terrier mix. Does anyone else have any guesses? Thank you!

English Mastiff
Hi there. I am researching English Mastiffs because I am interested in getting one male and one female. Not so that I can breed them, mind you, but for companionship. A couple of years ago, I was watching animal planet on television, and someone was showing there English Mastiff. I fell in love instantly...

NSDTRs? Anyone...?
I know it's an uncommon breed, but am I the only one here who has a Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retriever? The only one who's ever even heard of it? I haven't heard anything of it, even on the Archive posts...

Jack Russell Terrier and IG?! Got any idea?
You can't see it in the picture, but she has a skinny longer tail than a typical Jack. The vet thought she may be an IG mix, but we're not really sure. She was abandoned so no one knows her history. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Breed guess?
Well, I adopted Kelly awhile ago, but never got around to getting some pics on the net. Now that I have, I am wondering if you all can give me a hint as to just what she is a mix of... The shelter said part GSD, but I am just unsure of that... (to be honest, I think she is just through and through mutt...
