Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retrievers
Does anyone have one of these? This is my dream dog and thought I'd see if I can make contact with someone to be sure this is the right dog for me. This is what I want for my next agility dog!

About Plott hounds
I understand that Plott hounds have received marginal recognition as a distinct breed from AKC-and was wondering what the status on that was and if anyone has any sources or further information about this breed. They have been generally lumped in with coonhounds because of their hunting style, but they...

Boston Terrier
I have a new litter of boston's. They are akc and she had 8 this time. (her 4th litter). she had to have a c-section this time. Any way, they were born on Aug. 28th. We lost one when they were 7 days old, then we lost one when they were 14 days old. We've never had that problem before, and her...

new papillion pup
Hi..I'm new to the boards. I just got a male Papillion 2 weeks ago. I'm looking for other owners of this breed to share any knowledge they might have with me. Trip seems to be a very intelligent little guy. Takes to the crate well and is making progress with housebreaking (or maybe it's just...

What breed or breed mix would fit me best?
I plan to adopt a dog in the next few months. I do not want to make a bad decision in choosing a dog...I want a good match. I live in an apartment, but it is a very large, open apartment (1600 sq ft). I'm in a small town, with lots of open areas, and I even have a park directly across the street...

Shes Bald!
Why does Lizzie have so little fur? It is definately growing but I think she should have much more by this time, I have seen other pups younger than her that have like double the fur. She is also super skinny. What can I do to have her coat grow in fuller and longer?

Poogle or poodle mix groups/clubs out there?
Since getting Molly, I've spent lots of time on the net trying to find more Poogles... with very limited success. I did see lots of clubs and sites devoted to other poodle mixes though. Does anyone know of a site that would maybe have more poogles listed? Or maybe a group or club that likes all poodle...

Can you identify this breed of dog?
My family was on vacation in NYC and played with this wonderful dog in Central Park. We did not find out the breed and have been wondering what type of dog this is. If you can identify this breed of dog I would greatly appreciate it.

Long-Haired Daschund
Has anyone had/raised a long-haired Daschund? I have a 6-month old who seems to suddenly be growing longer hair between his front shoulders and between his toes. I've had short-haired Daschunds in the past, so I'm not sure about the progression of growth in the long-haired ones, especially as...

I originally joined the forums, just like many other people probably, when I had a question that was concerning me about my dog's health...but now that is taken care of, I decided to post a formal introduction. I'm Jada, and Jack is my pooch and he was an adopted pup that I wish I had before...

Spaniel/Boxer Mix?
Has anyone ever seen a Spaniel/Boxer Mix or can find a picture of one full grown? I found a lady looking to adopt out a few puppies and I am just curious of how big they get and what they look like grown up. These puppies are adorable!!

Responsible Breeders
I hear the term "Responsible Breeder" thrown around alot on this forum. I have my own ideas and requirements for breeders. I was just curious as to what the general consensus is: What makes a dog breeder a responsible breeder?
