    Boston Terrier

I have a new litter of boston's.  They are akc and she had 8 this time.  (her 4th litter).  she had to have a c-section this time.  Any way, they were born on Aug. 28th.  We lost one when they were 7 days old, then we lost one when they were 14 days old.  We've never had that problem before, and her 4 litters she has had she had 7 pups.  I am wondering if any one has any suggestions or ideas about this.  I'm taking the mom in on Monday morning, but i'm worried about one of them.  it is the runt and seems VERY slow, super small (size of a 3 day old pup) and cannot suckle unless i'm feeding her and i have to force her mouth open.  any suggestion or ideas would be appreciated.

you probably already know this, because you're WAY more experienced than I am or ever will be, but my friend's pug just had puppies and the runt was not eating. They had to go get the puppy forumula from the Vet and my friend had to feed her herself.
Well, what she found out was, when she opened her mouth, the puppy was lifting her tongue up instead of leaving it down allowing her mouth to position on the nipple correctly. She worked with the pup and helped push her tongue down until the pup got it. Now this little runt is eating like a pro. But she showed no interest in eating until she helped with her tongue.

Like, I said, you probably have already checked this out, but that's the only suggestion I have.
