My dog grinds his "stuff" on the carpet!
I've had my dog, Bubz for about 6 months now. I got him from the SPCA and had him neutered immediately. He is continuously grinding his stomach/genitals on the carpet, even crawling down the hall grinding himself. I took him to the vet that did not think much of it, and said that maybe his stomach...

Puppy Chews Crate Bedding ... Bad?
Hi. My 8-month-old Archie has gotten into the habit of chewing on the old blanket that I have as bedding in his crate. If he's in the crate, he'll gnaw on a corner of the blanket for a few minutes, then get wound up and start digging into the blanket, rearrange it, repeat, etc. He'll also...

Biting The Baby
When I first got Lizzie she would chase my baby all over the house ad would not let him out of her site. When he crawled she would put her front legs on his back and 'walk' with him. (Quite hilarious but PO'd the baby...lol) She also had this bad habit of chasing after him and biting (shed...

Will he ever stop?!?
I have a 2 yr old poodle mix puppy. I have had him for about a yr now. About 3 weeks ago I got a pit mix puppy. Bear (the poodle) was, as expected, not too happy about this. He went after the puppy a few times and after the puppy cried he would walk away. Recently it seems like he is getting more aggressive...

chewing & eating
I have a 7 month old mixed breed - possibly border collie - not sure what else. He is a good boy over all - did well in puppergarten - is protective of me and my kids, has really cut back on the "puppy play" which is a huge deal because he was too rough with my kids - they are little - 5 and...

What is with the smelling???
Usually Marley will smell at the beginning of a walk, do his business, and then we walk. Lately, he seems to be on a mission to smell EVERYTHING!!! Is it the time of year??? I don't get it. He especially does it if we take him to a new place. The annoying thing is that he will not listen to one command...

odd behavior
When I take my dog out, it is without a leash. She runs free behind our house at the back of our property to do her 'dirty little business', and there was never a problem with her listening to my command to come with me back into the house. This worked fine for about 3 months until a few days...

Attack Incident Last night
I was taking my cockapoo for a walk as she is way strung out right now with puppy energy. We were nearly home when we had passed near a place where several neighbors were outside talking with one another. It has been really nice here in Colorado lately and the evenings are wonderful. So it is great that...

Dog fixated on foster mom
We have been looking for a dog from rescues and shelters for a while. One that I saw early on is still not adopted and one reason is she is totally fixated on her foster mom while at adoption events. She's an adult GSD mix and sounds (on paper anyway) like a great match for our family. She will...

My puppy likes to chew or drag out clothing to lay on!
I have a puppy that started by chewing underwear and now that she can not find any to get ahold of she has resorted to getting our dirty clothing and dragging it up on to our bed while we are not home.... I'm getting fusterated on why she's doing this! I am now moving every stich of clothing...

Puppy jumps on women... establishing role as alpha
My 6 month puppy jumps on women but not on men. I think this is weird. At first I thought it was just that she jumped on me and not on my husband but this week I've noticed it seems that she is much more jumpy with women. Any ideas? Do you think it is a tone of voice thing? My husband is away...
