• huskymom Posted : 6/13/2006 9:18:48 AM Yummy Shampoo?  Maybe try rinsing him again.  Does it irritate the other dog?  If its not the residual shampoo your golden may think his buddy doesnt smell right anymore and is trying to rectify the problem.  You need to start redirecting the behaviour.  When he starts, give him something that he can lick at or chew on.  A bone or Kong or something.  You need to have it handy so you can present it to him immediately.  Also get him to give you an alternate behaviour.  Put him in a sit/stay when he starts and reward that with a treat.    0 LIKE Like Share You have posted to a forum that requires a moderator to approve posts before they are publicly available.
