Maisie went to the vet today because she was weezing a little, but it turned out to be just a mild case of sinunitus(sp?) that can be treated with benadryl. So, while we were there I asked the vet about how big Maisie would be when she is full grown..So he weighed her; she's at 7lbs 1oz and the doctor...

A Dogs Prayer

Maybe most of you may have read this before, but I never had until Tuesday. I had taken the paper with me out on the gambling boat. We have to go 9.2 miles out before we can gamble and it takes about 45 minutes. So i will take the day's paper and read it and work crossword puzzle during that time. Well...

Hello, I hope some of you can give us some advice on our problem. To start off, we adopted Shadow from a local shelter almost a year ago. Unfortunately, the shelter did not know the history of Shadow as he was transferred from the Philadelphia shelter. He is a mix between a Spaniel and a Border Collie...

Sorry for the double post, but I don't know how to move a thread from one cat to another. So I am going to post my question again... Romeo has been burping really bad for the last couple of days and seems to be in a little pain when you touch his stomach, it does not feel hard, but he makes a little...

Our dog starts to bark and act very hysterical when we stop the car and it's time to get out. He is very eager to get in to the car, but when we stop he is so excited that he must get out right away. It's very frustrating and we can't find a way to get rid of that behaviour. Any advice? We have tried...

Well we are off to the vet again...This time with Coal. I have been cleaning their ears per the vet suggestion (with their ear wash) and putting the antibiotic drops in Coal and Casey's ear. But Coal is still scratching like crazy. And its just the one ear again. Hes not chewing on his paws and isnt...

My Pet Shop Complaint
Posted to:

A couple of months ago, I was at a pet shop in a mall out here in Los Angeles. Not to buy a puppy, but to look at puppies. I could never resist not going into one when I walk pass one! It really saddens me & breaks my heart to see how the puppies are at pet shops! This pet shop in particular, I felt...

A friend of mine on a breed discussion list periodically sends an email with interesting dog related links. Here is one of his more recent finds. Of course the first slide show I did was the Paris Rapid Transit Dog Unit, wow. Then I clicked on a link from a show in 2005. It is the pic with the rott on...

Puppy Pee Pad
Posted to:
News & Entertainment
I just brought home my mini schnauzer this past weekend. He's 8 weeks old and doggy door trained. I am trying to train him to go indoors using doggy pee pads. I live in a loft and I don't want to take him outside yet to do his business until he gets all his shots or at least his second set of shots....

Hey all - Been awhile since I posted. Lots of progress since then! Mostly good stuff, but some strange developments. Last I wrote I was having problems with our 1 year-old adopted fem. Beagle.
