Has anyone tried this? We just got it in at the shop and were talking about the ingredient list. I'm not really sure what I think of sorgham in dog food yet..and I don't care for the fact that it just says "rice". I decided to take a small bag home and see what my dogs think....not...

HELP: I'm scared I'm starving my dog!

Nutrition & Exercise
My dog was always fed "real food". Chicken/ livers etc. He went to the vet recently and she told us since we are not balancing his food well enough (that was a concern of mine) we should switch him to a dog food. I've done research and got some different foods to try. Since I switched to...

I'm not an admin, and this is just my opinion, BUT It makes it much easier to help you if you fill in the FROM part of your profile , so that we at least know which state, province or country (if in a country other than USA or Canada) you are from. You can put your state or province, you can put...

News & Entertainment
Hi everyone... I've posted a time or two about looking for the right breed for a new dog. After a long search, I decided that there is no "perfect" breed for me, so I am just going to pick from a local shelter. Recently, I came across a BEAUTIFUL Belgian Malinois at a shelter. She...

Boxers?
Posted to:
Choosing A Dog
I haven't seen any Boxer posts, so I was wondering if anyone else owned one of these dogs who love to do the kidney-bean. 3 out of the 4 in my pack are Boxers, all really lovely (atleast I think [ ]) brindles.

Ash content, again

Okay, so yesterday, I talked to the veterinary nutritionalist from Nature's Logic, which by the way he is the man who originally created Nature's Variety, but then left when they sold out and the ingredients changed. Anyways, I called him to find out about the ash levels in the canned cat food...

Nature's Variety raw bone question
Posted to:
Nutrition & Exercise
So, I'm a tad confused. I got Ella a lamb bone RMB, and I'm pretty sure she isn't to actually consume the bone. BUT, what is safe? She wants to bite the ends of and sounds like she could. How should I go about this? Just give her the bone and allow her to chew on it and if she breaks some...

I just realized all of a sudden that I didn't know where he was, and I called for him and searched (the dog run I was at is really hilly and huge) but I could not find him. He was lost a total of five hours...

Well I took him to the vet about his leg and he wrapped it and told me to have him take it easy for a couple weeks. So, I am relieved that it was nothing serious. It just seems lately that he is really feeling the effects of getting old. He is 8 years old (almost 9) and I really thought that it would...

Is anyone planning to show or attend the dogshow being held in mid-October in Rapid City, SD? I am thinking of attending, and I thought it would be fun to plan my schedule so I can watch some dogs I am familar with being shown.
