Help with choosing a breed

I am about six to nine months away from getting a new dog and I want to know as much about the various breeds and what the best fit for me as possible. The last thing I want to do is get a dog that is not right for me, because all dogs deserve a good home and a good master. Here are my limitations...

whining in crate UGH!

my puppy whines in her crate in the morning... A LOT. she wakes me up at 6 or before every morning with the the whining. It doesn't matter what time i go to bed, whether its early or really late, she still wakes me up at 6! I've just been ignoring her and not letting her out until I am ready...

Unfortunately, I've been a lil under the weather lately. Yesterday I had pink eye and today and I have the flu. A low grade fever, body aches and sinus pain... I could use any good vibes sent my way! Thanks guys

I have to vent for a moment. Today a guy brought in this beautiful black lab puppy, 5 months old, to be euthanized. The vet and I are working like normal, I go grab the file in the door, and its to PTS this dog... why, you may ask? Because he has parvo! We just looked at each other and stared at each...

I don't know if i should be feeding my pup more, or what! According to the innova bag, i should be giving him 5-6 cups a day. I give him 2 meals a day, 3 cups each meal. Whenever i feed him, he eats every bit and then goes and looks for more food. It's a constant thing. He's always trying...

does anyone know if they make wire sleeves for computer cables? Like the power cord for a computer. Because my dog chews them, and i have already tried spraying the computer cables with stuff that make dogs not chew them.

I have a 5 monh old Rough Collie and an almost 1 year old baby. My Collie is crated at night and whenever I let her out in the mornings or to put her in at night my baby will struggle with me to let him in the crate! He loves being in there, and any chance he has to sneak in there he will! Just yesterday...
