How the heck do I get my 3 and a half month old puppy to stop harrassing my cat? I've tried saying "No" and "Leave it" but nothing seems to be getting through. I also tried to squirt her with water but she just completely ignored it. The dog literally will get on the cats back...

Tea on Feet - how about Cold Brew Tea?
Posted to:
Health & Grooming
I just tried the dark, strong tea on Bogey's feet. She didn't mind it at all. But I used the Cold Brew tea bag. I used 1 bag in a glass of water. It only took about 5 minutes, doesn't need to cool and I could use it right away. Also, since it was a tall glass, I just "dipped" her...

Thursday we are going to Portland, ME for a James Taylor concert. My son has always adored James Taylor (17 yr. old has quite an array in music taste - went to a Taylor concert with I was 6 months pregnant w/Geoff I think that sealed the Taylor thing with him). Anyway we have a 2-hour drive to Portland...

How old to kennel?
Posted to:
News & Entertainment
I have a puppy who will be turning 4 months on Sept 5th, the problem is that I'll be going away for a week on a cruise and the people who were supposed to look after her can't do it after all. Does anyone know how old a dog should be before they can be kenneled? After this Friday she will have...

Afraid of his food/water dishes?!?!

This morning, Rudy (11week old chihuahua mix) is barking at his food and water dishes, and backing up like they're alive and going to attack him. ?!?!??!?! The dishes are in the exact same spot they always are, with plenty of fresh food and fresh water. But he won't eat or drink. He eases...

won't poop on lead
Posted to:
Training & Behavior
A friend of mine adopted a 3yr old dobie femlae, she's well behaved but not crate trained. We think this is because of abuse in her past. In fact she's horrible in a crate, barking, whining, crying...etc. The problem is that she will not poop while on lead. She has held it for up to two days...

Bugsy has always been a ravenous eater and then in July he didn't eat for about 36 hrs and then ate about a quarter of his norm for a few days and then didn't really get back into his normal ravenous self (we took him to hte vet and he slightly elevated white count nothing else) until yesterday...

Sorry for the double post, but I don't know how to move a thread from one cat to another. So I am going to post my question again... Need to raise Ph
Posted to:

My 1-1/2 year old cocker spaniel had a urinary tract infection in July. In fact, my new vet thinks my old vet misdiagnosed this and he may have had it for almost a year. Well, I had his urine cultured and the pH was 5.2 which is lower than it should be. My vet said a lower pH can contribute to stones...
