Does your dog sniff around all the time?

My dog, Sam walks around literally, all day, in search for food! He sniffs the ground, licks it, and has his head down most times looking at the ground in hopes of there being some food there. When Marley and I were on our afternoon walk yesterday a whole herd of little kids walking home from school approached me and asked to pet Marley. One of the older girls is a neighbor, and knew Marley by name. We are not around really little kids very often, but Marley (and Shaq) are great with them...

We have been needing RAIN for weeks now. Today the heat wave and the drought broke. It has been raining ever since 2:30 here. I cannot get Shannara to come in!!!!! Well it's been almost 3 weeks now...some setbacks...BUT, Elias is pretty much daytime pee pee potty trained...whee! We did the pullups and he's now regularly coming up and telling me he has to go...and holding it when we're out shopping or whatnot, and willingly going at grandma's...
