When Marley and I were on our afternoon walk yesterday a whole herd of little kids walking home from school approached me and asked to pet Marley. One of the older girls is a neighbor, and knew Marley by name. We are not around really little kids very often, but Marley (and Shaq) are great with them.
Anyway before I gave them permission, the kids had crowded around us, and I have to say that Marley was an absolute sweetheart with the kids. Some of the smallest kids were nervous, but Marley was just like this gentle little lamb, and nuzzled their faces so softly. I was so proud of her! Even though I think that Marley is small (compared to Shaq) she seemed huge next to the kids. One of the little girls said "Your dog is taller then me!" And it was true, the top of Marley's head was level with hers!
I just had to take a moment to brag, because I am so proud of my hyper little Marley! [
] She can be a total sweetheart when she wants to be! My only regret was that I did not have my camera with me!
