Coughing

Since I got home from work tonight my dog has been coughing. Kind of like he's clearing his throat-the way he typically does after he vomits-but he hasn't thrown up. He had kennel cough when I first got him, and it doesn't sound the same as that did. Any ideas? If it doesn't stop,...

I am considering purchasing a puppy with an umbilical hernia. I am waiting to hear from the breeder just how bad it is -- but until then, I'm trying to educate myself. How bad of a "defect" is this in a dog? How will it affect his future as an agility prospect? Are there other health issues...
