Mindless Chatter - Fri

Ya know what?  I'm gonna be evil and NOT worry about scooping really good before we move out!  I had mastiff poop to clean up, I had mastiff drool flung all over the walls, I had filthy ovens, stoves, fridges, and everything else, so I'm not scooping.  Plus, they take the dogs out front, my "friends" downstairs and let them poop all over, including in the driveway and don't clean it up.  I've stepped in it one too many times.....so the heck with it.  I'm not scooping.  I've done everything else that a good tenant would do when leaving a house...patched the nail holes, cleaned stuff, including carpets which I'll hit again next week, so screw it!

I have some packing to do in the garage this morning before I go to work, then tonite will give at least a couple dogs a bath when I get home.  Dinner is going to be quick and easy.....those nasty fish things from the freezer case, but I've got to use some stuff out of the freezer in a hurry.  I Consolidated the two deep freezers yesterday and everything fits...barely....but, no room for the stuff from the fridge freezer so THAT we need to use.  I'm thinking I'll take a bag of chicken out for the dogs to have raw this weekend....and then once I take a frozen tub of their homecooked out, I'll be in decent shape, but, a lot of stuff just plain needs to get used so I'm not having to stand in a tent and pull out EVERYTHING every time I get in there!

Also need to head out to the RV and put away the stuff that I sent out there yesterday.

But, the sun is shining and it's gonna be 42 degrees today!  Good start to the weekend!

 YEAH SUNSHINE!!!! It was really nice here last night as I walked the doggies. However I think I needed hip waders, the sidewalks were standing water from all the melting and the ground is still frozen, no place to go. My dogs loved it though so who cares.

I was so mad at DH yesterday. I have been going through H@*&# at work, getting cut off rudely by my boss when I offer helpful suggestions, only to have her make a suggestion, same as mine but now it's hers.  So I am trying to bring myself up after work yesterday (particularly hard day) and in the middle of my SENTENCE he says "I'm going to let you go, I will see you when I get home". I hung the phone up on him, I was so pissed. I shut my cell off in case he called me back. He might of tried he was really "nice" when I got home but I would have nothing to do with him. He asked if I wanted help walking the dogs I said NO! I wanted good company that at that point only my dogs could give me. Getting cut off at work is bad enough. I am still mad at him, not as bad but it is up to HIM now.

I am so glad it is Friday...this week at work sucked big time. 

We are taking Charlie to a puppy playground tomorrow for the first time and I am so excited!  I hear you on the waders!!  I can't go anywhere without getting my feet soaked and Mr. Prima Donna can't get his paws wet so walking has been interesting lately. 

We are also taking Riley to see the Easter Bunny on Saturday.  Personally, the Easter Bunny creeps me out big time.  I used to HATE the night before Easter because I hated the thought of some huge steroid using rabbit running through my house downstairs.  But, I can't let my creepiness bleed onto Riley. 

 It is 55 degrees right now!!!!!!! WOHOOOOOO! *does happy dance*

It's 54 here and I'm freezing.  I'm wearing many layers.

We are also taking Riley to see the Easter Bunny on Saturday.  Personally, the Easter Bunny creeps me out big time.  I used to HATE the night before Easter because I hated the thought of some huge steroid using rabbit running through my house downstairs.  But, I can't let my creepiness bleed onto Riley. 

 

Personally I think the Easter bunny (human version) is creepy! My mother never took us to see Santa or the EB I don't think I would ever take my kids. DH and I were just laughing that our dogs would freak out. Hopefully Riley is young enough to just be completely perplexed by the whole situation.

My car is officially broken, so I get to sit around all day and wait for my mechanic to call and tell me it's done. Grrrrreat.

It's the last day of 'spring break' for us and I'm dreading going back to class. Can't I graduate already? Or can it at least be summer vacation?

My SB ended last week... *sigh* thankfully I'm only in class 2 days a week.

I got a new watch about a month ago. I got new batteries in it a week ago. Today, it died, again. It isn't covered under the warranty, so I think I'm getting another new one when I get paid. It won't be Columbia digital watch though. I had the same analog watch from Columbia twice, and love those, but the digitals suck, or at least this specific one does, and they don't make the analog that I like anymore. 

Glenda, I don't blame you for not poop scooping.  How will they tell the difference, anyway, and yet they will blame everything out front from the OTHER dogs on you, too, so you can't win.

All this talk about the Easter Bunny makes me think about how adorable Easter Egg Hunts are.  I love watching all the little ones in their adorably fancy new Easter dresses and outfits, squatting and stumbling thru the grass to find their colorful Easter eggs.  I think Easter is my favorite holiday because you get a new outfit, new shoes, lots of candy, pretty flowers, and no obligation to buy expensive gifts, etc.  I love it.  I have to say that the spring blooming around here has been surprisingly pretty, too.  I adore flowering trees.

I think I have a good situation brewing for this current job.  Fingers crossed that it works out the way it's headed - I can basically make my own job up now. Woohoo!

 Heat Wave!!! It's like, 52 degrees here, so I wore capris and sandals to my meeting with the mortgage broker.  Since it's so nice out, DH and I took Honor to a new dog park in the area.  We had the most amazing time, and I'm making a post about it in the General section, simply because I want to gush about how good of a time we had. 

I'm so glad I'm off today!  I was feeling really overwhelmed at work, and definitely needed a day to myself.  And what a nice day it is today!  I've got the windows open, and am spurred on to "spring clean" so I'm doing laundry.  Woohoo! 

Aww - Lisa, sounds like a perfect day off!!!!  Good for you!!  Beautiful weather makes a big difference in my outlook on the day - which is why I could not get myself to move to Seattle. Pretty place, but depressing weather!

Ahhh I forgot all about the Easter Bunny!!! Gotta go find him and hope that Samantha isnt scared of him. Last year I took her she didnt want nothing to do with him. But when we went to see Santa she was happy to sit in his lap and take a picture(he gave her a candy cane though). At our walmart here they give you a free 5by7 picture.

I get to go to the dog show tomorrow!!! Not gonna be there all day like I planned but at least I get to go.
