Help - starving dog gets up way too early

We have a nearly six year old puggle. She's a great dog, very affectionate, but can never get enough to eat. If given the opportunity, she'd eat until she explodes. We feed her dinner at 5PM, 1/2 cup of diet dog food. She starts begging for it at about 4PM, but we wait until 5. That's not...

Just curious as to why hotels and B&B's think that there is something terrible that happens over a certain weight. What is it all about? My dog is very well trained, would rather explode than go to the bathroom inside, has no interest in going on furniture or beds, has never chewed/destroyed...

Canine Caviar - Great Result so far...

I am now trying Canine Caviar Chicken (puppy dry formula) for my 18 month old lab. I like the crude protein being at 31%. At approximately 550 Kcal per cup, my 70 lb lab gets about 2 cups a day with home cooking or canned food and plenty of exercise. I like the SMALL poops..... yeah....less backyard...
