Riley Turned 1 Years Old (mrstjohnson)

Riley turned one yesterday. I can't believe how fast time flies. Not only was the day momentous, but she also decided she was going to start walking!! Just a few steps here and there, but it was very exciting! We aren't having her full, huge, crazy, italian party until next month. With the move and everything things are just too crazy and then the deck will be in for more room. Any how, here are some pics from the "private" party we had for her last night with just me, DH, and Charlie and a chocolate mouse pie! Please excuse me, I just got finished walking Charlie in the rain so I was a mess!!

Oooh, I was going to post a HAPPY BIRTHDAY Riley! thread but couldn't figure out if your ticker saying 'Riley is 11 months and four weeks old' meant that she actually turned one or not. *crosses eyes*

Thanks everyone. I feel so bad that we didn't have her big party on her birthday, but I guess if there was a year to do it, it was this year since she won't remember later anyway. Now that I look at her pictures, I can't believe how dirty her shirt was, I swear it was from the pie and she doesn't walk around like that all the time Big Smile

Aww! Riley is SUCH a pretty baby! OR, is that "big girl" now that's she a year old?? lol Hardly - she'll be a big girl soon enough. She's got such a pretty face - lucky girl is going to be smart, loving, AND pretty! The blondes have all the luck! lol

Dirty shirt? Didn't even notice. I was too busy looking at her little face! Ha ha.

Don't worry about the party. Shannon's birthday is on a Wednesday this year so she won't get a part on her actual day - but we'll do one the weekend before. Though I plan to take her birthday off and spend a whole day doing really fun stuff with her. :)
